Role Description

The most exciting business retreat center in Columbus is looking for someone who wants to take exceptional care of our extraordinary facilities and amazing guests. You'll be in charge of making sure our space is ready to go and our guests are well taken care of.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Setting up and maintaining meeting rooms daily
• Greeting guests first thing in the morning
• Working with guests to ensure they have what they need for their meeting
• Tracking, ordering, purchasing inventory
• Setting up and maintaining catering
• Light computer work
• Light office work
• Various other duties as required

• Reliable - must be able to be on time
• Friendly & professional appearance
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Like to organize
• Able to "rapidly refocus" on multiple activities throughout the day
• Able to work alone, with other staff, and with guests
• Positive attitude
• Able to quickly find answers to questions you don't know the answers to
• Physically able to lift and push furniture -- occasional heavy lifting
• Belief in the "Got time to lean? Got time to clean!" philosophy

Desired Skills & Experience (nice to have, but not required)

• Waiting tables, catering, retail, or other service experience
• MS Office and internet savvy
• Familiarity with computer and audio visual equipment
• Handyman (or handywoman) skills -- able to fix stuff, paint, etc.
• Reliable transportation

Education

• High-school diploma or equivalent
